Midsummer Festival 2026 - Music, Dance & Delicious Food

The 2026 NYC Midsummer Festival will be held on Saturday, June 20 from 4pm to 9pm at Rockefeller Park.

Due to the Juneteenth federal holiday on Friday, the 2026 NYC Midsummer Festival will be held on SaturdayJune 20! The location will be the same as 2025, at Rockefeller Park in Downtown Manhattan. The event runs from 4pm to 9pm, rain or shine.

Join us for the annual Swedish Midsummer Festival, a vibrant celebration hosted by the Consulate General of Sweden in New York, together with Battery Park City Authority. Held in Rockefeller Park, the event promises to bring the magic of Swedish Midsummer to the heart of Manhattan!

Event Highlights:

  • Get a free, limted-edition tote bag: First 100 guests receive a beautiful tote bag filled with goodies, the following 900 guests will get a tote bag.
  • Design your own flower crown with the help of volunteers from SWEA New York.
  • Dancing Around the Midsummer Pole: Enjoy traditional folk music and dance led by Ross Sutter, a renowned Scandinavian folklorist.
  • Live Music: Featuring Paul Dahlin and fiddlers from the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis.
  • Picnic and Treats: Savor seasonal delicacies from local Swedish restaurants.
  • Swedish Midway Market: Shop home goods, stationary, kitchenware, cosmetics, and more at pop-up shops from Swedish vendors.
  • Pinocchio Marionette Show: Central Park's iconic Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre will join with puppet shows by NYC CityParks' PuppetMobile
  • FIFA Mobile Tour: Stop by FIFA's electric van for "football"-themed activations celebrating the 2026 World Cup.
  • A Sunset DJ Set: Dance the night away with entertainment by DJ Isac Cederborg, provided by Candy King.
