Drinks, Food, Design + Travel Tips: Finland and Sweden at the Danish “Pusterum”: 29 + 30 Oktober.

"Pusterum" is Danish and means "room to breathe". During this year's edition of the Fernweh Festival, the restaurant in Bern's Mattenhof not "only" offers room to breathe but has also put together a Nordic cultural program together with the embassies of Finland and Sweden.
A lecture and book presentation by the Finnish designer Ville Kokkonen is on the program on Saturday. Anyone who has always wanted to taste Nordic craft beer should put Saturday evening on their agenda. For all who prefer sweets, on the other hand, there is a Swedish "fika" on Saturday - the typical Swedish coffee break with freshly baked goods. Also on the menu on Saturday are the Danish classics Smørrebrød (lunchtime) and the hot dog (evening), in their delicious Pusterum-version.
The author and blogger Andrea Ullius was invited for Sunday: He will contribute valuable travel tips in the morning and tells about his travels in Finland and Sweden in the afternoon. Sunday is framed by a Nordic brunch (until 1 p.m.). Anyone who has always wanted to know what a "Himmeli" is or would even like to make such a lovely object, should also drop by on Sunday: In a drop-in-drop-out workshop and based on "Himmeli", the book by Finnish artist Eija Koski, shows Andrea Huser how you can make your own little Himmeli.
It should also be mentioned that an Icelandic chef will swing the wooden spoon in the Pusterum kitchen.
