The Swedish Embassy in Tehran represents Sweden and Swedish interests in Iran.

Mathias Otterstedt is the Ambassador and the Head of Mission since January 2025.
Sweden has had diplomatic relations with Persia since the late 17th century. In 1857, relations were formalized through a treaty of friendship and trade. The treaty expired in 1928 and was replaced in 1929 by a settlement, trade and navigation treaty. Sweden's permanent diplomatic presence was established in Tehran in 1934, and the Persian mission in Sweden was established around the same time. In 1957, both countries agreed to upgrade each country's legations to embassies.
