If you are a citizen in a country outside the EU and want to visit Sweden for a maximum of 90 days, you may need to apply for a visa. A visa is only valid for your stay in the Schengen countries for up to 90 days during a period of 180 days. You submit your visa application at one of the VFS Global offices in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam.
Applications for visas are handled in cooperation with VFS Global. You can find more information about the application process on their website VFS Global or contact their call center: 9200 05938.
Please observe that all visa applications are handled and decided on by the Regional Migration Hub in Amman and that you need to apply well in advance of your expected travel date. The visa processing time is 15 working days from the date when the applications reach the Regional Migration Hub. Note that it also takes time to transfer the applications to and from the Regional Migration Hub in Amman, in total at least 25-30 days from submission of the application at VfS until the passport may be picked up. Please do not send any documents separately to the Regional Migration Hub at the Embassy in Amman. Note that the documents submitted are a basis for the examination of the application. It does not mean that the visa application will be approved.
When you present your application at VFS Global, you will be informed of the procedures for collection of the decision and your passport.
