Information about Schengen visas

As of July 7, 2025 you can apply for a Schengen visa in Pakistan by submitting your application in Islamabad.

If you are a Pakistani citizen or a resident in Pakistan and want to visit Sweden for a short period (up to 90 days), you can submit your application for a Schengen visa in Islamabad. Additional information is available at the Swedish Migration Agency’s website.

Applications for Schengen visas are handled by the external service provider, VFS Global. You should contact VFS Global in Islamabad to make an appointment or if you have any questions regarding the documents required in a Schengen visa application.
